Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your Engnova account and associated data at any time. Two options:
Option 1 — From inside the app
Open Engnova → tap the profile icon (top right) → Sozlamalar (Settings) → Hisobni o’chirish (Delete my account). You will see the consequences listed, then type the confirmation word to proceed. Deletion completes immediately.
Option 2 — By email
Email engnovaapp@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify the request and process it within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been removed.
What is deleted
- Your profile and sign-in information (email, phone if applicable, hashed password, provider identifiers).
- Your learning data — progress, answers, scores, XP, streaks, mock results, practice recordings.
- Your linked study-track accounts and their data on both Engnova tracks (Multilevel and IELTS).
- Scheduled reminders, notification tokens, and cached content.
What may be retained
We retain a limited record of completed payments where required for accounting or legal reasons (typically 5 years under Uzbekistan tax rules) — the same disclosure shown in the in-app deletion flow (“To’lov yozuvlari qonun talabiga ko’ra saqlanadi.”). These records contain the payment transaction details but not your active account or learning data, and are never used for any other purpose.
Third-party providers
When you delete your account, we instruct our service providers (Supabase, Resend, and others listed in the Privacy Policy) to delete their copies of your data on their normal schedules, typically within 30–90 days of our request.
Google & Telegram sign-in
Deleting your Engnova account does not revoke the Engnova app’s permission on the Google or Telegram side. To fully revoke:
- Google: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove Engnova.
- Telegram: open Settings → Devices → Active sessions and terminate the Engnova bot session.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests complete within 30 days. Backups containing your data are overwritten in the normal course within 90 days.
